          I've had docsis 3.0 for a couple years now. On the 30/5 plan. The upload is what pisses me off. I want a more symmetrical connection.

            They are just throttling everyone, DOCSIS 3.0 is good to 343/122, they are just working infrastructure now, but they can bump the speed at will. Now that Fios has bumped, they will follow suit shortly.

                no the upload is important to me for work purposes (deploying applications/files). I'm on the VPN a lot.
