Yeah, you don't have to customize anything on the phone either.

You're a fool. Each phone was the flagship model at the time it was purchased.

I'm on my 8th phone, and i've never had a problem.
I've used every version since 1.5 (except honeycomb) on these phones and i've never had a laggy, buggy, horrible experience, except for when i flashed a beta release of a rom.

I can never understand the problems people complain about.

I always laugh when people complain about it acting slow and buggy, and the first thing i see on their home screen is advanced task killer plus.

Probably once a week my phone, in the middle of use will lock up then reset after about a minute or two of no response. Also sometimes when I try to access contacts or text messages it will go to the correct menu load everything then go back to my homescreen. Closing all active apps in the task manager fixes it but it's still annoying.

Is it stock? I know of lots of folks w/Cappy's that have similar issues.

that's because you have the resources and knowledge of how to mod them to where they dont do that. when i had my hero i didnt have a computer at home and i didn't even know about rooting(or jailbreaking). i tried to delete all the bullshit off the phone(cnn/mtv/espn/etc.) cause i knew that was slowing it down but like i said i didn't know how so i went with the iphone which did all of what i needed without having to mod it.

yea it sucks that android people have to mod or try and use apps just to keep their phones from lagging/freezing

For the most part. I did do the OS upgrade to gingerbred or whatever a while back. Other than that it's not rooted or overclocked or anything.

Yea, that's the pain of multitasking. I'm glad they made it the way they did so they could work towards perfecting it.

                      Not true.

I have no problems with my phone and it is stone cold stock - it still has the ATT bloatware on it and still runs like a champ.

And I'm not trying to be an android fanboy, but the 2nd most lag/freeze I have ever experienced with a phone was with my iphone 3g.(The most lag/freeze was with my ATT Tilt-Windows mobile) I still have my iphone in the truck for music and it freezes quite often with its only task being playing music. I would think it should have enough ummph to handle that single/simple task.
