For playing your ipod or phone thru your car radio, I picked up one from bestbuy and the sound is crappy. It plugs into the cigarette lighter and has a long cord but if its not setting just right it has static and even worse sound quality. Anyone have any better experiences with one?

I got ghetto when I did not have an AUX port in my car. Generally though, in the cities it's difficult and once you find a station it won't last long before you're hunting and pecking for another station.
Now, I have no proof of this cause I never researched it - I heard there are some that you can crank up their transmit power (FCC violation). Those would be better, but I have no real experience with them.Originally posted by MR EDD -
It works better if you take the antenna off of the car...or get a decent head unit with aux in, or bluetooth streaming, or usb in, etc.Comment
