    Who's playing with Windows 8?

    Thoughts, coolness? suckness? etc?!?! I just loaded it on a virtual machine and haven't quite started playing with it. Looks/feels a lot like my XBox GUI mixed w/ an Ubuntu feel.... weird.

    As much as I want to, going to wait for the final release. Since here at work we have MS subscription, I'll get it for free. Thats what I did with W7 and everyone here still on XP.

      Am I the only one not really a fan of the tiles? The format has kept me from even considering one of the windows phones too.

          I dont understand how people are turned off by the tiles. I've been a WP user well over a year now and I love it. It's easy to use and the major social sites are integrated with the OS.

          So yeah, I cant wait for the final release of W8 and a tablet to go along with it.

            I'm just thinking it's going to be a complete flop for desktop/laptop platforms. Seems better suited for tabs/phones and should have been released that way. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, who knows?
