    Also when can i get windows 8 running good on an in-dash GPS/DVDplayer/bluetooth unit?

    the one i;m running right now in my car only runs windows CE 6.0

      Windows 8 is the first windows OS you can boot from a usb drive. Anything over 8GB will work. It's called Windows to Go and it's an obscure feature most people don't know about.
