See if you can get the Egg to pricematch.

edit: actually for some reason I thought you got the drive from Newegg but now I see you didnt list who you got it from. Not sure why I assumed the Egg though.

We got a handful at work, they are fast for sure. But I'd pass on one unless it was free.
I'm happy with my adaptec ssd raid (which is faster than those Fusion drives).
son of a bitch, I paid $155 shipped. It was amazon.

Our testing has proved otherwise so far. For our specific needs and app testing. We don't go by what how they rate themselves.

Now the net gain being worth the extra capital.. that's a different story.

Consumer level stuff in small quantities i think you are on the right path.

So, I bought a Crucial M4 128GB SSD for my system files... a new dawn has arrived. I did my homework and settled on the Crucial, it was between the M4 or the Samsungs. It's one of the fastest SATA III's on the market so it should be pretty killer.
Please tell me that the Crucial M4 doesn't have a Sandforce interface...

I wouldn't trust any important data on a drive using it...

That's the reason I avoided many of the manufacturers. Crucial uses the Marvell controller, much more reliable. The M4 scored a 7.1 on the windows performance test... I was hoping for higher. According to the performance index, it's the slowest part of my system by a long shot.
