Bajabob told me about the Juice Defender app a while back and said it's doubled his battery life. Gotta say, it's nearly tripled mine.

I was gong to do that, but my battery last fine. Yesterday I forgot to charge it and it lasted two full days. Of course I only do phone calls on bluetooth, text(s) and very little email or internet browsing.Originally posted by SilverbackComment

mine stays on a charger all day in my office, I take it off at 100% battery life at 6:00pm, and usually by the time I go to sleep it's dead. I carry 2 extra batteries in my wallet. I have a DroidX and I have no problems with the battery, again I also dont internet surf and that seems to affect the battery life quite a bit. ANd if it gets too low, I have a car dock that bumps the charge if I need it or when I need my navigation ON.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View Post

No wonder, I actually use my for PHONE CALLS and TEXTS. I hardly ever use the internetz unless Im looking for something and I have other email accounts, so no emailing on it either. The NAV I use on my car dock and it gets charged while Im using that feature.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View Post

Yeah, my DX was pathetic on battery life with moderate usage (email, games, calls, etc). My Bionic was identical. I used juicedefender as well, with all the whistles.
Now, during normal usage it's normal usage and JD can't help you. However, I got tipsy over the weekend...lost my phone for awhile...and long story short it was still well off after about 36 hours of very minor usage.
It says generally 2x batter increase. I'd put it at more like 1.5x, in reality for a normal day. That's something though and a lot of the features do work alright.Originally posted by MR EDDComment

I get a full day on my EVO and I am on it a lot. I only keep on what I am using. WiFi at home and 4G at work. I don't use the bluetooth much unless I am driving for a while and need to make some calls.

Juice Defender used to make a big difference when I was running my Dell Streak, also gave me at least 2x battery on my infuse but since the GB update I haven't needed it.
I also moved most of my heavy lifting to my Transformer Prime, with the dock on that I can go a full day with no charge and still have about 50% juice when I go to bed.Comment
