Problems overclocking Phenom x4 940 black

On an Asus board, 4gig ddr2 800, trying to get 3.5ghz on air (have good cooler).

wont stay stable under prime95 blend no matter what I do, put the vcore up to 1.425v and it still bsod very quick. computer will stay stable during normal operation, and temps stay in mid 30* even under load.

i have read that my ram timings could be off, but this is outside of my scope.

any ideas here, there are tons of folks out there with 940's running far faster then this.

How are you getting your OC? Can you post screenies of CPUZ w/ CPU and RAM?

I just did mine to 3.52 and it passed the intel burn test but crashed about 15secs into F@H. F@H is FAAAAAAR more intense than any "stress test".

using the multiplier in the bios (17.5x)
