In your defense, I'm of the mind that it was Rom Manglers fault more than yours. I'm pretty confident in saying that hardly anyone uses it to flash their devices.
i did not get my first iphone until about a year ago. before that i listened to a lot of friends complain about the performance of their iphone after updating them. so when i finally got an old 3g i fully restored it without updating it to a newer update. also did the same with my 3gs
i have yet to have a single problem with either one
(take that back my emails do not always send right away, but i think that is my crappy email provider's server)
Well that's the thing, like most things software related they generally work well until you try to modify or upgrade them. The only thing wrong with my phone was the fact that I couldn't force a 2G/EDGE connection and it certainly wasn't Android's fault, it was my carriers. I tried to correct it by modifying my phone and I got burned.

I hear ya man. I blame it on myself for wanting to screw around with it (but ya it's probably ROM Manglers fault). Appreciate the link you posted about the repair service. If I can't fix it by this weekend I'm going to see if I can exchange it through AT&T since it's a new phone. I didn't get a chance to mess with it last night but I've brought some of the software with me to work to try later today (couldn't download some of it from work yesterday).
