  • Looking for a laptop backpack

What do you use? The laptop work just gave me (Dell Latitude E6510) is too big to fit in the opening of my current dakine messenger bag, but I hate messenger bags anyways. I'm bidding on a Dakine Corridor on ebay, but I doubt it will go for as low as I want it to. Looking around $50. Preferably black or dark gray.

Your company doesn't provide you a bag?

Very high quality bags. I have a backpack verison that fits my macbook and the middle section has storage for a day trip.

I have a Targus backpack that is no longer made, but it fits just about any 17' laptop (snuggly). I've had it over 4 years, with zero problems, no broken zippers, no tears, no issues at all.

Targus sells a bunch that will fit up to an 18' laptop now.

I can't comment as far as laptop bags but I have an Ogio duffel bag that is the most well made bag I've ever seen.

Ogio bag is what I used these days. Was using other brands that were good too, but this Ogio is rock solid.

I guess I should have stated that I'm looking for something slimmer than a day trip bag, lol. That and I don't think Ogio makes a laptop backpack under 60 dollars. Just enough to hold the laptop, charger, ipad, and maybe my keys and phone and a couple pens or pencils. My boss has an Ogio bag like the one with the large compartment in the middle, and it's tore the fuck up, but he's had it for 10+ years.

                      Edit:

I'd love this one, but fuck it's pricey.

And my company will give me a bag if I want one, but it'll be some shitty vendor partner S.W.A.G. bag that will probably fall apart in a couple months.

I have had a swiss bag for a few years and it works awsome! Also, I had to get a alienware bag when I ordered a M18X a while back because it was so big. That bag was awsome, I loved it but I returned it when I returned the laptop. I thought about keeping it but it was just too big for anything other than the M18X. They make smaller versions though.

Apparently prices for victorinox bags have gone way up too O.o

Who the fuck pays over ~$75 dollars for a damn computer bag. God damn. I'm about to go sew some foam into my plain black jansport backpack and roll out. Jeebus.

I paid ~$40 for my Targus bag for my 17" laptop(my 18.4 is snug in the bag). But it's a messenger bag.

Targus also has a pretty good warranty
