She has to many apps on it. Have her get rid of some that she doesn't use, move some to the SD or root it and use a rom that supports A2SD.

It's full of pics she sends to her sanchos....

But I'm anti android but maybe she's saved bunch of crap to the phone instead of the sd card..

she has maybe 3 apps that I downloaded for her from the market and the rest are built in from the factory. just downloaded all her pics to the PC earlier today and the icon is still there.

Go to Menu>Settings>Storage and what does it show? Mind you it's gonna look different being that this is ICS but it'll show what's full.

Delete some apps or move some to sd, but don't move anything that's a widget.

apps that are on from factory are not able to be moved. the only other apps that she has is Pandora, Delete Old Messages, and Lookout and I can't move those cus it tells me that there is no room.

according to these #'s, the sd card is almost empty. why can't I move Pandora there?

I see there is a 'delete old messages' app on there but it sounds like a potential culprit. If she doesn't have but the three apps.... I'd recommend doing a factory reset on the phone or deleting the messages the old fashioned way is also an option.

So you're saying Delete Old Messages is causing this?

I had this problem not too long ago. I deleted all of my text messages (almost 20,000) which sometimes include pics and videos and it got rid of that icon. It also freed up a bunch of space and it made the phone a little faster too.

also try going into each app and deleting app data.

Settings - Applications - Storage Use

click on the ones using the most storage, and click Clear Data. Facebook, and the Internet all cache content.

Don't clear data for things like contacts, etc. or will remove them all.
