Best place to buy a new laptop and ranges

Newegg, Frys, Bestbuy?? Also what would you guys consider a really good price range between performance and budget? I am on a 3 year old Dell and my 6 year old HP that I gave my mom trumps this one in a lot of ways. I think the dedicated video card made some of the difference. Would you say 5-700 range would be solid. I hate changing computers so I do not want to be looking for a new one in two years.

That top one looks bad ass but I am afraid of Toshiba. I bought a brand new one right before I bought this one and it crapped out on me the first day I had it. I have had really good luck with Dell and HP but they want pretty good money for theirs. Fry had some Alienwares in that range but are all sold out dang it. I think Dell bought Alienware but can't remember.

Holy shit it took me about 5 minutes to build a 10000.00 laptop on the Origin website.

Get the one on woot.com today. Awesome specs for a decent price, even if it is a refurb.
