htc problems help please!

I have been having a problem with my htc vivid. Since friday I have not had internet service. Tried restarting, rebooting even went as far as using the master reset. Nothing. Called at&t and as usual got shitty service with no answers but they are "updating" a tower in my area but was suppose to be back going yesterday. still nothing, my wifes phone works great all my co-workers work great. anyone have any ideas?

yes i understand, wish i had my 3gs back but here we are at the present. anyone have any ideas?

Did u try switching settings to 2g? T-Mobile had a 3g outage near my house for nearly 3 months before they fixed it last year.

how do you switch it? tried to google how with no clear answer for my particular phone.

menu>setting>wireless and networks>mobile networks>access pint names>menu>new apn

Follow instructions and see if this works. TBH, it sounds like #attfail didn't properly provision your account.

Got online at the shop and chatted with a tech and he thinks its my Sims card. Said that my phone was not requesting a service. Just got home and it randomly started working again...
