Dell provides technology solutions, services & support. Buy Laptops, Touch Screen PCs, Desktops, Servers, Storage, Monitors, Gaming & Accessories

I am getting the I5 version, second one from the right.

It's on order right now. One of the features I am looking forward to is the touch monitor. The cool thing is that there is only one wire and that's the power cord, everything else is wireless Has rca inputs, tuner card built in. I didn't really see the need to jump from an I5 to and I7. This will be my first intel setup. For I have always had amd before.

My old pc (4 years old) Is breaking down on me like a car that just had the warranty expire.

I bet those touch screen computers are going to become alot more popular when Windows 8 retail comes out.

That looks like a decent computer for everday use. 6 gigs of ram and a I5 should make for a snappy little computer.

While it has a nice spec sheet, the uber proprietary design eliminates 90% of your chance of servicing it should there be a failure.

Is that still the case with Dell? That pissed me off years ago. Good hardware, but like you said - proprietary stuff makes it a PITA to repair/upgrade/swap

With a standard desktop, nor so much, but this being and all in one, it'll be horribly proprietary.

It'll be pretty proprietary, much like a laptop is, because of the slim design.

More than likely it's just a laptop/tablet motherboard setup, mounted on the back of the touchscreen monitor case.

Yep no different than a laptop.

I can't fix my desktop cause the issue with it is not consistent. I have had issues for 2 years with this thing and have yet to come close to figuring it out. It's never something simple
