I played for a bit on one at Gamestop and it had really nice graphics for a portable and the screen siZe was decent too. However I think I waste enough time playing video games at home I don't need to play when I'm out of the house.

I'm interested in playing with one, but I don't think I can justify buying one since I haven't bought a handheld system since the Gameboy Color. I just don't spend much time playing with them.

Handheld are useful for me since I use the TRE to commute to work everyday. So it's either stare at strangers on the train or play some games. I say play some games.

I went back up to BB a while ago to check them out again and decided Ill wait. The demos loaded slowly, the memory cards are proprietary (32gig for $100??!!??) and no real good games out. Golf sucked and I usually like those cartooney golf games. Little Deviants used the rear touch panel and I have big hands with long fingers and I was really having to reach to hit the center of the rear panel, there is no way any of my kids could do it.

The screen looked nice though and the controls were leaps and bounds better than the previous PSP's.

Yeah thats how i feel too. They have a $300 bundle that comes with the 3g/wifi model, 8gig card and a game. Thats a better deal than the $249 wifi model. Still alot of $$$ though.

This story about sums it up. Vita takes forever to do anything, games and memory cards are way too expensive .

Snes9xex was the best snes emulator but I cant find it anymore. Have some other now thats not bad but not great. Theres also an n64 emulator that's like $6 that Ive heard is really cool.

My kids mom bought the bundle for him. He spent all day Friday and Saturday glued to the damned thing. He mostly used it to make mini-movies. It's not bad but I can see where my support money is going to. He's already dropped it once with its case on, I cringed.

I agree with the price and I was on the fence about it, but I sold a few items I had sitting at home and thought I'd use that money to buy it. Even though the prices are high and anyone here ever decides to buy it, I suggest the 299.99 bundle of the three. I say this because it includes an 8GB card, with the 349 bundle you get the 4GB card but you also get a case. For me though, I rather have the bigger memory than the case. I can alway get some cheapo case later on and still come out cheaper than the 349 bundle.

Just something to consider if anyone here decides to get it.

Someone like me that commutes on the TRE, a Vita comes out handle for me. I know there's games on my phone or iPad, but they're not the same as the games on a PSP, it just isnt, but thats me. Some might disagree and thats okay.

All in all, it's a great little device and the games might not be your top notch compared to your PC games, but they are great.
