Appcrash game wont start

    Appcrash game wont start

    Installed my old Max Payne 2 CD to play it. I could have sworn Ive played it on this PC before... Every fuvking time I try and load the game (as admin too) it pops up saying it stopped working with the following problem Details:

    My PC is a Intel Q6700 CPU
    Radeon HD 5670
    6 GB DDR3 memory
    Vista 64b Home Premium

    I ahve searvhed the internet with no luck Its really pissing me off if you havent noticed. I have ran my AVG virus scanner, along with CCleaner which cleans the registry etc, AND restarted computer several times. I have also reinstalled the game several times AND installed the current or last patch from 3D realms website. v1.01. Ideas? Appcrash sounds like it could be a common issue.

    Try running it in compatibility mode. Right click the shortcut, properties,compatibility tab, check to run in XP SP3 mode.

      I tried that earlier too... Even windows 2000, 98, etc. But I didnt have a SP3 option for XP, only SP2. Frustrating!

              That didnt really help any. This is MP2 im trying to install not the first one. Plus I actually already tried installing it by searching the disk manually for the setup.exe. Im reinstalling yet again.... Doubt itll work this time. Wtf is Appcrash though? its effecting the maxpayne2.exe apparently.

                Some people say that appcrash is a registry issue or malware problem not allowing it to boot. I have already cleaned my registry bla bla bla... I am soo damn pissed.
