5.0.1 battery drain

My iPhone 4 with 5.0.1 has battery drain also. Mine was so bad that I charged my phone overnight (100%) and left my house to go to work at 6am. By 9:30am, I checked my phone and it was at 30% and warm to the touch. I had not used the phone all morning.

^Thats about how mine ran. I'm in the 80's right now since I changed those toggles, but I've been on it non stop

Ive been having trouble with the wifi. It will not connect to my router. It worked fine about a week ago..

Just wanted to share this about my phone and battery drain. Charged it up to 100% and disconnected at Noon when I went to lunch. Made a short 2 minute call, sent 3 text messages and briefly did some web surfing and checked email while I was waiting on lunch, email is set to check every hour, everything is turned on (WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G) and I'm only at 98% charge right now. Phone is a 3GS running iOS 5.0.1 and is jailbroken.

my wife's phone did that this weekend. i did a hard reboot and recharged it, and it's been working great since.

6.5 hours later and I'm at 78%. Again everything is turned on. Light surfing and texting with email being checked every hour.

Wish my 4 with 5.0.1 was doin that. I can usually get 12 hours outta the battery. but thats it.

I have that happen to me on occasion, didn't really notice until after I jailbroke it though. Usually a reboot of the phone fixes it.

I know not having the faster processor on the 4 and 4S probably helps with my battery lasting longer. At least that's my thought.

And almost 12 hours later with a lot of GPS and streaming audio over Bluetooth in my Lincoln on the hour long drive home from work (damn construction traffic!) I'm at 32% battery life
