  • Good deal on a Samsung Galaxy S2??

How the hell can Fry's be selling this phone that cheap? AT&T with the upgrade discount is well over $200.

Who Cares? Fuckers need to jump on that.
It's no skyrocket, but still! I loved mine while i had it.

Goes to show you how bad ATT takes their customers.

I thought this was the Skyrocket?? Isn't that what the S2 is?

They have the Gs2, and the skyrocket.
          GS2 is 4.3, non-lte
          Skyrocket is 4.5 and LTE.

I had both phones, both are fucking phenomenal.

Doesn't the 4G mean LTE or is 4G just an enhanced 3G connection? Sorry for my ignorance, haven't really kept up with all of the terminology.

It can mean both, but they're starting to throw around LTE when the phone actually has it.

Keep in mind, while the Sky Rocket is an LTE device w/ a larger screen, it's a lower res screen and has had issues w/ color banding. If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose the S2.

Also the SGS2 (not skyrocket), has a better processor and typical runs a little smoother. As far as speed, if you are in a good ATT LTE area, you will get some great speeds with the skyrocket. Even with the 3.5G phone I will get downloads in the teens as long as there is a strong signal out of peak times.
