      Yeah the acer seems ok for what it is. Just a few drawbacks I don't like about it. The touch screen keyboard seems to be blurred or something and the smoothness of the overall graphics and operation don't compare to an iPad or Galaxy but for the $ I am sure it is on par. I think it will be the kindle fire for JR

        I think that'll work well. My GF loves hers. It's a cool little tablet for the money. If rooting is your thing then you can root it and put Gingerbread or CM7 on it.

          I don't have enough background in that kind of thing to want to attempt rooting a tablet to be honest lol

            We ended up getting him a Samsung Galaxy 5" player. Pretty much a mini tablet. We also returned his sisters Acer 7" tab due to wifi connectivity issues and she got a Samsung as well. They are both quite please with them, as am I. The quality is nicer imho, and the OS and functionality of the tab all together seems to be smoother.

            If someone is in the market for a tab/ereader etc...I highly suggest looking into the samsung galaxy 5" player.
