  • FFVII Help Needed Inside

So I went to play FFVII on my pc tonight and the game tries to load then crashes a few seconds after launching it. Screen flashes black a few times then I'm back to my desktop with nothing. I've played this game just as it is on this system in the past with no issues (granted it's been a while) and tonight it wont run at all. I've re-installed it several times with the same results. Any help here would be much appreciated.

Check the error logs and see what it shows or paste the entries from when it failed.

What was the issue? Post your/the fix in the event someone else experiences it too, they'll have something to try towards resolving it.

I had to run it in compatibility mode and change a few audio settings. Working fine now.
