I gotta say Skyrim is pretty far up there but Borderlands is probably the winner because of the multiplayer. Old school I would say Rock 'N Roll racing, an old school SNES racing game made by Blizzard.

I played the original MMORPG (The Realm) for a long, long, long time -- actually just played it again last year. So probably that one, even though it's beyond lame now (and probably was then, too). Second would probably be Diablo 2 or any game in the Gran Turismo series.

I would agree with that. Diablo 1 game was probably the first game that really got me excited, the bad-ass music and the feeling of immersion into the game was awesome.

I forgot about Descent. I loved that game! Mike Tyson's Punchout was the shit, too. As was double dribble on NES and California Games on NES (remember the running pad? lol). Excitebike was cool as hell but really, really sucks now. Contra was the shit (who played that game and didn't cheat? haha).
