Anybody host their own game servers anymore?

Hey you guys! I have a bit of a question. I think this is the right place for it... I was wondering if you guys thought this was a good deal for CS server hosting:

It looks like counter-strike.com is doing a deal for 75 percent off with the coupon "MerryChristmas!" and when I looked on this site it came out to be only like 10 bucks for a 20 slots pub with a 10 slots vent too.

I've used them before and they were pretty good service/support but I haven't been hosting a server in a while so I wanted to know what you guys thought. I wanted to get back into it for the CS:GO release.

I have nothing to add to your question but have one of my own that I have wondered for a long time.

Are you guys that still play CS, still playing the same game from years ago or is there a newer CS game I maybe missed? Dont the graphics look outdated if its the original?

CS Global Offensive is coming out soon and I was looking to preorder a server for that actually. CS Source was the newest version before CS GO is released. (And yes I still play CS Source that came out in like 2004 lol.) The CS:GO beta just went live like yesterday I think.

I'm working on a minecraft server for the kids running in hyper v on a box here at the house. It's got plenty of cpu/ram but my 1.5mb upload I think will limit the # of players I can support
