Anyone getting halo anniver?

I loved halo 1, 2 and 3. I acttually loved all of the halo games, but I do not see much of a point to this one. With CODMW3 and BF3 out, I do not have time for much anything else now, heh.

I'll agree with you there, I think it's more of a nostalgia thing. Also, it's a chance to be able to play the first Halo in HD. At least you're not having to pay the regular $60 price for it.

I'm throwing an "old school" LAN party on Saturday for the anniversary......though there will be plenty of COD:MW and BF3 being played as well. Halo started it all for me.

I used to take my xbox to people houses and have LAN parties. We would put four TVS and four xboxes in the room and geek out.

I'm a huge Halo fan, but I wasnt a fan of Halo Reach's features being in the new Halo game. I'll probably get it later in a few months.

I believe those features are only in the multiplayer, which is downloadable for Reach. Other than that, the campaign itself is just like it should be.

I love Halo but I gave up after Halo:ODST, they jumped the shark a long time ago.
