COD is about the only game is still enjoy, though I hated BO, and stayed with MW2. I'll be picking it up, but probably tomorrow during my lunch hour.

I'll borrow it from someone just for the campaign but the multiplayer doesn't really appeal to me. Looks like they were running out of ideas and ways to make it better so they just decided to throw more shit into kill streaks.

This is very true and it drives me nuts. And yes i'm going to get MW3 because they took away some of the cheap things i hated from MW2 so i'm hoping its better. As i said before same or not i'm looking for play ability with my friends. None of my friends pay BF3 and I get bored of playing with a hit or miss team.

IMO that's no different than what was in MW2 or BO, I don't recall having to account for bullet drop in either of those two games like I do in BF3, regardless of what gun I'm shooting.

Because the maps are 1/3 the size and in some cases 1-5 the size of the BF maps..
Not much room for drop although I am not sure if you noticed but you do have to lead your targets in both games if on the move....
