Got it at the midnight release, and just now stopped playing long enough to get on here. (minus sleeping for 8 hours) Mostly played multi-player, but did a few missions just to see what it was like. The campaign is freakin great for the small amount I played. I've mostly been living in Hardcore Team Death Match, and Hardcore Search and Destroy. Real men do it hardcore

I'll buy it when Steam discounts it 50% in the future. I'll admit, I have always liked CoD's story line and SP missions. I hate the MP, I try to play Black Ops with my Bro-In-Law and I just get tore up (mainly because I suck with controllers)

And because of above cartoon, me and some buddies on MW2 really enjoyed the coop Special Ops. Looking forward to the coop in MW3.

I bought mw3 yesterday and played it last night. My first impression is that there is either too many people trying to play online at once or there server sucks. I got kicked out of a game at least 6 times. I could actually start a game in a group and play about 1 out of every 6 attempts to play.
Some things in the game are a lot different. They seem to have cut down the blast radius of the grenades and grenade launchers(noob tubing). Im also pissed that they changed the recon class perks so you have to be at level 22 before you can get the marathon perk. Which sucks for me because all I ever do is run around an stab.
I could do without all the stupid remote control stuff and all of the non-manned things that can shoot at you. The campaign seems to be pretty good and I like the fact that you can to the special op mission with random people online.
Does anyone know if they've hacked the anything yet? I dont want to do any of the hacks but I do want to know when someone else is cheating.

Iv been reading about the server problems Iv been having. According to what Iv read game companys have a program that controls "lag compensation". If you have a really good connection and other players in that room have a poor connection, you will purposely get more lag in an attempt to even the playing field. You also get dinged if your the host. Your kill zones for people are smaller than your opponents to try and compensate for your consoles faster processing.

I finally played MW3 and was not impressed. Quite frankly, I was disappointed... Campaign felt rushed, short, and poorly done... I always LOVED MW campaign it has been innovative, jaw dropping, and entertaining. The models were unrefined as well. Noticed alot of animation issues that I expected better of. Infinity ward what happened?! I'm gunna stay away from mp since I assume the animation and "every gun is automatic" (BF3's select fire and gun attachments spoiled me) will be the same as campaign. I was a big fan of MW campaigns and mp! That is why this is so disturbing to me unfortunately. Anyone else feel the same? I'll be sticking to BF3 for my online jollies.
