i am not into the magic type games, but i can see the attraction to elder scrolls. my dad played it on xbox when it came out and it became his time killer/hobby for the next year and a half. yeah, i said year and a half. the game was just that big with so much stuff to do, of course him wanting to play every damn mission/quest and having a bunch of different characters is what probably kept him on the game so long
luckily he kept his priorities straight and never put the game in front of work or family... but whenever he had free time he was playing that gameComment

I'm not much of a RPG player, but I am smart enough to know when a game is good. Despite that the game moves too slow for me, that is my preference, and my preference isn't going to be the unanimous feeling towards the game, but how they built the game and how the community has accepted should tell you how good of a game Skyrim is.

Best game in my opinion was Quake for many reasons. First true 3d game, first game to allow mods, first game to have true multiplayer.
