I actually agree with that logic. Now the way I play doesn't make sense.

I guess I see it as if the controller is facing up. If you push up, you look up, push down, look down. So instead of seeing it as forward and back, up and down.

Exactly. I see it (as grotesque as this may sound) as a stick stabbed into the back of a persons head. You want them to look down, move the stick up. You want them to to look up, move the stick down.

I've never been down with the inverted x (horizontal) axis though, that shit's just weird!

Some people do, I don't. The only time I don't play inverted is if I'm on the computer and I play RTS games where moving around a map is needed.

This video suggests it's bad to play inverted, but the helicopter's control stick should be inverted, right? I thought aircrafts used an inverted stick yet the helicopter goes down when he pulls back. I play inverted.
