Exactly. I have never paid for my phone and don't plan on starting. I am eligible for an upgrade in November. I think it is fair... they get a guaranteed 24 $125 payments ( 2 phones) and I get a free phone.

I'm getting one. But then I've got an old ass iPhone 3g. Siri has me curious. I think people are under estimating its impact in iOS5. However I think that impact will be more felt on the iPad.
