All of your network components have to be gigabit capable to achieve the full speed. My PC downstairs (on WiFi) is barely seeing 60mbs. My phone won't do more than 40. Only my media server on LAN can hit near 700. I'm limited by the network card there, since it's not gigabit capable.

So what do I need to do? Mainly just stream movies on the TVs and playstations Download movies for road trips and shit like that.
You may not have to do anything, depending on the age of your computers. If your network is gigabit capable, you won't have a problem. If not, a router with a gigabit switch might be the solution. Some routers have switches internally.
There are better people on the board to ask, though.
