I've got a Samsung Galaxy S that I've already updated from 2.1 to 2.2. But I'd heard that 2.3 was available in Europe. Of course you can download and install it but I was a little hesitant because there might be a thing or two that they're going to add to the US version. I mean you'd think so, right? Seeing as how they would have simply said its safe for US use as well. So does anyone know when they're planning to give the OK on using it on US phones? I know a few people that have done it and their phone hasn't exploded or anything, but I don't feel like having to re-update it, or revert to a previous firmware and then update the phone again, in the event that there is something different about the "US" version.
