USB tethering speeds?

I'm using tmobile to tether my laptop at times. I'm getting 4mb down and 1mb up. Supposedly my phone is a 4g phone. Does that sound about right to you guys?

Yes, that's about right. Tmob and AT&T's current "4g" offerings aren't true 4G. It's HSDPA/HSPA+ not LTE and isn't going to be as fast. AT&T just went live w/LTE but doesn't have any phones that are capable of utilizing it.
