Little review for anyone who cares.....
Ok so I upgraded today from my Nexus One to this LG Thrill. The 3D is pretty cool, yet gimmicky. The screen in 2D looks decent and is big which was the main thing I wanted. Its 4.3" and honestly, its almost too big. The 4.5" phones look cool but after messing with this one, they may be too big for my liking.
The phone opens up apps and runs programs very quickly. Quadrant score is 2279 with no overclock which isnt bad.
The 3D is pretty cool but like I said, its gimmicky. This thing has 2 5mp cameras that can record 3D movies. The 3D preloaded games are decent and there is a little bit of content on Youtube 3D but its mostly professional footage to show off 3D.
I already rooted using superoneclick which was cool. I havent tested any rooted apps yet though. Ill probably try a flashlight and screenshot app later on. I wish these damn phones would come with reliable screen shot apps like iphones.
I havent really found anything I dont like yet although I have been having hell moving my apps and contacts over but that isnt the phones fault, its googles. I finally got it to stop trying to import all my contacts from gmail but had to go through and delete the ones it managed to import. Total PITA. Oh and the phones has those little doors over the mini hdmi and charge port that you are supposed to use your fingernail to open, those things suck.
For $99, its a real bargain though!
