Try this.

1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run. 2. In the Run box, type verifier and click OK. 3. Click Delete existing settings and then click Finish. 4. Click Yes. 5. Click OK. 6. Restart the computer.

It is a goOd troubleshooting Step sometimes. Eliminates the os....or at least mostly eliminates it

Because it could be a simple hardware problem.

1st step. Download windbg, !analyze -v and you have the driver that failed.
