We use the T400 and T410s here at work and they are the biggest pieces of shit I have ever used. 4-5 times a week I get a blue screen of death "encountered error beginning physical memory dump......blah blah blah". We have probably 10,000 of these in theater and I have yet to meet someone who enjoyed their Lenovo Experience. lol

A month ago it completely wiped out My Documents. Over 4,000 word documents, .pdf, pictures, etc. GONE. No warning, no reason. Luckily I backed up a few weeks prior and was able to restore 90%, I pulled the rest from my sent/inbox emails.

If this piece of shit was not owned by the government I would give it to you.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

HUH, MyR61 is going on 4 years old...
other than ocasional HDD swaps for more capicity or the final SSD, i have never had one issue with my Lenovo. Hell i recommend them to other coworkers and no one i know has had any issues...

Mine was loaded with XP and now has Win7, i skipped over the Vista Era. infact i just bought 2 new laptops and the only reason i didn't go with Lenovo is because they didn't have what i wanted..

i would suspect that the units you have in the desert have been abused quite thoroghly....Also all that dust plays hell on keeping the computer cool, overheating will defintely cause BSOD's
