Daughter just gave my laptop a dr pepper bath

Well I saw it happen turned to grab a towel and went to sop it up and it turned/went off. I've got it up on it's side with a fan on it but how long do I give it before trying to power it on? Any tip advice appreciated.

you might have to dissassemble it in parts to find where the sticky situation is, and probably wash it down with some unconductive material. I just hope for your sake the corn syrup didnt make it to the motherboard underneath the keyboard of the laptop, otherwise you are fucked. Because if it did it might have short circuited.

In general, I've never seen a quality Acer product...

I'm goin on yr 4 w/ my Acer and it sits in my garage on the dryer, power on 24/7 in the heat/cold w/ the dryer running underneath it. It's been a tank. You won't get a bad word from me for Acer.
