If you're rooted and on a custom rom, check your APN settings against this and modify them if they're different. I changed mine this AM and netted a 2Mbps increase in dl speed vs the default settings in CM7.

what kind of download/upload speeds are you getting these days? I went into a ATT store because I thought the LG Thrill came out but of course it didnt. I was checking out the Inspire and Infuse though. Looks like cool phones.

I've seen as high as 1.25 but typically 1.7 -1. 9 range.

what network are you guys on, i just ran speedtest on my iphone 3gs on 3g via at&t and pulled 2.4mbps

I'm technically on the 3G network but any phone marketed as 4G right now is able to utilize the enhanced backhaul they've implemented till LTE, true 4G, is rolled out.
