Hey guys since its less than a month away, who from here is all going? I would like to see who here goes to this.

For those of you that don't know what this is, it is an annual key event for pc gamers, where we set up a lan and play against each other etc.

There is panels and workshops and lots of free shit they give away!

Is it here in Dallas? Do you have to participate in the actual gaming? Or is it kinda like a small comic-con?

I'm going, this is my 3rd one to attend. If you don't want to participate in the gaming then you don't have to register or anything just go see the booths and what not. It's in Dallas at the Hilton Anatole.

Anything that has LAN play that you want to play. Also if you have and use steam, be sure to put it in offline mode before disconnecting your computer. If anything, you can always play Quakelive since they will be hosting that internally and anyone can play it. Don't count on any game that needs a outside connection to work, such as Battlefield Bad Company 2, WoW, etc.

You can usually catch me playing some Quakelive or any of the UT games, always fun!

BYOC is still free, you pay to get a few swag items and pre select your spot, you can still walk up and sit down where you find a open spot until it fills up.

I'll likely be out there. This will be # 3 for me. I've already put in for vacation time that Thursday and Friday. Just trying to decide if I want to grab a hotel room and whatnot.
