Kind of a long read, but some of the shit that online gamers have pulled in the past is pretty damn hilarious. Quick example of the biggest one, is that on the game EVE online, a guy made up a bank where people gave him money (game currency, but was actually worth a bit of real money if they wanted to sell their accounts) and made nearly $200K off of it. Then as the ultimate "Fuck you" he built and unbeatable warship in the game and challenged any player to try and take him out.

The Crashing the WoW Funeral was brutal/funny. I remember the night it hit youtube, and everyone on my server Stormreaver started spamming trade with it.

the funeral was hilarious, as was the blood plague that eve one is nothing. there were a ton of eve scandals, that game can get dirty. the ultima online one is bad ass!
