My wife evo updated itself. I think to 2.3.3 the gingerbread version and now she is having issues with some apps like chase,Facebook,both giving errors,I have turned itoff and even tool battery out same thing. What can I try to get this fixed. I don't want to do hard reset and loseall her apps and stuff

i had some of these issues as well, I think with twitter. I uninstalled the updates to that program and that fixed it. So far I dont like the update for the phone.

Anyone else loosing signal now. My old EVO was just over a year old and the charge port broke. Well I didnt even pay attention to the fact that I have been having signal issues after the update. I thought my phone was just crapping out and with the charge port I went ahead and got a new one. I also was contributing the dropped calls,raoming, and no signal to the meth heads stealing copper from local towers. The new one had perfect signal and no issues at the house. Well I will be damned as soon as my phone updated to gingerbread it started loosing signal again and roaming in odd places. They need to get this crap fixed. I noticed on the verizon forums this has been a huge issue also. I am almost to the point of wiping it and not updating to the new update.

I hate the gingerbread update. Fb sucks. When I close my browser I get the HTC screen reloading menu. Bank of American app forcecloses after I've signed out. I've also had my phone restart by itself for no reason.

My phone will show 5 bars at the house and I will hit the call button and the signal will drop to zero. The dipwad at sprint said turn the wifi at the house off. I explained to him that my wifi has been on for a year with no issues. It will be sitting there showing service and I will get up and leave and all the sudden boom texts and messages. Gingerbread is killing my EVO.

My 3g data speed sucks. I can be next to someone else with Sprint 3g and we both do a speed test and mine is very slow.

Is it stock, if so did this start after the GB update?

Yes, its stock and started after one of my last over the air updates. The phone starts and restarts now almost instantly now though, which is very nice.
