    The signal bars are not a true way of testing, need to check what the dbm reading is. Signal bars are misleading.

            My new one is actually working very well like it should. I guess maybe I did get a bad phone. It was just odd that both phones lost signal after the update. This one already had it and is woring fine so far.

              Rooted my first evo, took me two weeks to figure out how to unroot it to take it in for diagnosis. Not rooting mine again.

              Old phone had an overheating issue BTW.

                    That's what I did several months ago(when I used to work at a retailer/repair location). I will say though it took ALOT of tries before I finally got S-on.



                    I'm finally having an actual issue with my evo(can't wipe my dalvik cache, therefore can't install a different rom), just need to install a new recovery i guess, but I've been thinking about upgrading to the 3d so I haven't bothered yet.
