BTW - has anyone got an easy way to rip and convert DVD to Apple format for watching on iPad or iPhone? Tried the VLC Media player converter and wasnt successful

On my Mac, I use Handbrake. It's not the fastest converter on the planet, but it works well. For PC, I know there are tons of options out there, but I don't have any first hand experience with any of them.
