Verizon phone suggestions?

I currently have a blackberry which truly sucks. Throw in the OS freezing, constant shut offs and random reboots, limited capabilities and it becomes flat out frustrating.

I spend most of my time on the phone online and probably text more than I talk, but I want something that is clear when I do talk.

Other than that, I'm pretty open and not dedicated to a platform.

Go with an Android OS and you won't be unhappy.

I think the HTC Thunderbolt is your best bet if you're looking for a 4G/LTE phone

Android is definitely the way to go. The Thunderbolt is pretty much the best out there, any of the Galaxy S phones are good as well.

I purchased the Thunderbolt the day it went on sale and i love it, but there are many people having problems with reboots after the radio update and battery problems. Its the first 4G/LTE phone so quirks happen. Im rooted and only use 4G when tethering/heavy data, and my battery last a day.

If you have never owned a smartphone the Iphone is a good start. If not Android is growing strong and a more variety in manufactures with better hardware.

I have 3 co-workers with the Thunderbolt and the only complaint they have is how horrible the battery is. When they're using to it's fullest they only have about 2 hours max worth of battery. Even when they turn the 4G off, they only get about 4-5 hours of battery. That's the main reason I've yet to pick one up.
