Looking for a tablet but not an iPad

Wanting something that has wifi capabilities, and able to download android apps like angry birds for the kids and I to pass some time and not always be in front of a tv or computer screen. Also like the idea of the kindle for droid option as they both love to read. I like the iPad 2's but a lil to pricey for my 6 and 8 yr olds to be handling, considering their 10 yr old cousin just dropped his mom's new iPad 2 and cracked the screen What are some suggestions and prices?

Get on Amazon - there are a bunch of cheap, no-name Android based tablets on there starting at ~$150. I don't have any personal experience with them. So if you buy one, you need to let the rest of us know how it works.

I see walmart has alot too. I just want one that is android based and has wifi. Don't care on the brand as long as it is reliable. Like I said my kids will be playing with it too, so I rather not drop $599 on one only to have it dropped and broken. lol
