had the phone since april but noticed on runkeeper would sometimes take a while to get a signal in open area on a clear day, just thought it was because i kept gps off until needing to use it but my runkeeper maps show where it looses signal a lot lately

I downloaded the GPS status and some things show up but whatever is under magnetic field just sits there and spins the loading icon. It could also be a defective GPS module(the case with my original inspire). I asked about the case because there's lots of info out there documenting the negative effects of certain cases on the functionality of the GPS on this device.
