I keep buying these sorry games just to play with friends, since they can't expand their gaming and they beg me to buy them.
hopefully battlefield 3 steps up to the plate with the kind of gaming depth needed to knock out these shallow shooters.

Infinity Ward sued Activision for breach of contract, i.e. they werent paid completely for their contribution to the game. From what i understand Activision owns the Call of Duty name but Infinity Ward owns the Modern Warfare subtitle. I highly doubt there will be a MW3 but if there is that would be awesome. I am all for it but again that all depends on if Activision and IW work out their issues first

I played World at War, MW2, and BO. I enjoyed them all for what they were (each is different play) until I got into MAG. If you want a game of that type that you actually need some skills to play (other than run and gun) and a game that you can truly use your snipers skill at, I highly suggest you pick up MAG. I haven't even turned on COD (other than for zombies) since playing MAG. $.02.

I guess to each his own. I played BC2 for probably about the same amount of time as you played MAG and felt the same. MAG takes skill, whereas COD doesn't. Period.

You have to play hardcore mode in COD. Those are the modes that require skill.

Any game that gets you killed in two bullets takes skill. People are more cautious in hardcore, but you have to be. There's gunna be some camping, but name one online shooter that there isn't.
