I've spent a month using a Stand up desk, which is much harder on the feet and legs than walking. So really it isn't a problem. I do have some discomfort in my feet if I stop walking and just stand around for an hour, so I try to make sure I'm constantly walking. I'll slow down to 1mph if needed but I don't let my feet take my full weight all the time.

However I am going to buy some new shoes tomorrow. These running shoes are a bit worn out.

Wow dude...you got some serious determination!
      Good luck with your goal.
I'm the opposite though...I been requesting a recliner at my work for a while now!

This is strange to me, but hell, burning 1500 extra calories is no joke. Keep up the work!

Hello old friend. I haven't seen you in 8 years. Tell your buddy 180 that I'll be seeing him soon..

I had to go on the road for two weeks and that slowed my progress a bit, but I'm back on track.

I'm thinking of modifying the tread mill more so it lays closer, and level, to the floor. Right now it has an incline to it. I want to build a raised floor around it so I can easily roll a chair on and off of it. There are times that I'm doing some serious writing that I would rather not be walking. At those times it is best to sit...

Additionally I'm looking into buying a height adjustable GeekDesk to bring the desk down to sitting height when I'm not walking. I still have a bit of thinking to do on this because I want to make sure I don't waste a lot of money and find I'm not losing weight.

I haven't been serious enough about my diet but hitting 199lbs really gave me some motivation. I'm going back to a Body for Life style diet where you allow yourself one day a week to be spoiled but eat healthy on all other days. I foresee a lot more fish in my diet. I'm also shopping around for a used weight bench to use with my dumb bells. A couple pounds of muscle would sure help me accelerate the weight loss..
