Cool...wonder how much is the equivelent of one scoop of Assault.

Chris, did you pick up your packet for the run on Sat yet? The light up arm bands are pretty cool and the shirts are black! This is gonna look crazy!

PreWO's have about 25mg, some 50mg.

Muscle Marinade, MaximazeV2 and Noxipro have around 75mg!

So this: http://store.lockoutforums.com/index...9v7ttqeh2np2q5 is 40mg, meaning 2 would be 5mg more than Muscle Marinade, but I'd get 100 tablests for about half the price? Why isn't this a more popular method? Is there something missing that's in the pre-workouts that improves workout performance, recovery, etc?

The wife and I took half a scoop before our run this morning. Seemed to really help! The 4 miles seemed like a nice easy jog and over too quickly. I felt like I could have run twice as far if not more and Trisa said she could have kept going. We were able to talk the whole run, too. I'm definitely going to take a scoop before our run on Saturday!

Depends on the goal. If you can carry on a conversation without huffing and puffing too bad, that puts you in the perfect fat burning zone, as I understand it. It was also more of a recovery run for me and her first time to run that far without stopping, ever. I was in it for her. True, I do run a lot faster when it's just me(as I had Wed night), but beyond wanting to get faster in the 5K, when we start doing 10k on up to marathon, my goal is to complete it injury free and have fun.

I don't have any Jack3d.

Because 99% of people dont even look at the label, know what's in it, or know what ingreds do what.

There are other great ingredients in pre workouts to include Creatine, Aminos, Beta Alanine, and so on. Just depends on what you're looking for in the supplement.

Greg, I lift twice a week and run 4-6 days a week. I'm not trying to get bigger, but just keep my workouts high energy, run longer (working up to a marathon) and loose more weight. What would you recomend? Should I stick with the Assault or go to DMAA by Professional Supplements? Would some Creatine also be a good addition? I'm going to need to order something soon.

I went ahead and ordered Assault green apple, the DMAA and some Creatine. I'll try the DMAA and Creatine once I run out of the Raspberry Lemonaid Assult. Couldn't pass up the special on the Green Apple!

Tried jack3d? I'm trying Assault now.

I really want to read more about what's in them, but the more I dig the more I see things like "stim dick" and other things that don't seem to happen to me YET - but ignorance maybe bliss.

I think the jack3d works better for me, the Assault makes me want to puke a bunch. I was dry heaving after my 5k this morning and that was WITH pasta and water in my gut which I usually have 0 problems with.

Which Assault did you take? I drink lots of water with any of them. I went back to just using Assault on my lift days. I am taking creatine though. I finished my loading phase on Sunday. I felt stronger and more endurance in my Monday lift and run as well as my spin class yesterday. I seemed to be able to go longer without my legs getting wiped out... When I get to the bottom of my Assault, I'll take a month off of it.

Tried the Green Apple already...I don't love it! My wife likes it better though. I thought it was kinda medicinney tasting...
