Been doing one meal a day (aka Omad) for a couple of weeks now to toughen up. Eating nothing outside of a 30 minute eating window. Feel just fine. I want to be able to go days without eating and be so used to it that it doesn't really bother me. Stomach growls are just noises to me now, no real hunger pain from them anymore. Also lifting during this time. The strain from lifting can get the stomach bitching about food though. Sometimes.

I did the Dallas marathon half today in 1:55:31 which is an 8:48 pace. I did eat a bunch of carbs and shit over the past two days though to get ready, started with a big baked potato on Friday. This is my second fastest finish of the five half marathons I have done. Point being, I think even if you don't have any energy in your system for endurance events, you can quickly add it a day or two before hand or even during the event. The weight loss from keto probably helped more than anything.

I don't use the strips, I use the House of Keto "breathalyzer" that tells me if I'm within Ketogenic range.

It works well, but REALLY confuses alcohol for ketones. Do not trust it after drinking, only use(trust) when you haven't had alcohol.

And just like that, the 10lbs of muscle gained over the Thanksgiving break are gone. Can't wait to do this all over again for Christmas. On a side note, if ever wanting to break keto, do so with Japanese ice cream. Ho-lee-fuk it's good.

Almost reads like they are confused between ketosis and ketoacidosis.

    Any thoughts?
Color on the strip means ketones are being produced, yes.

I'm down over 10lbs since the beginning of November, started at 195, down to 183 a couple of days ago. Goal is to get back at or under 170 so all my clothes fit without issue.

It's crazy how hard it is to go back to eating right when you have one bad day.

I sent some wild ass mid-day test photos of the strips to a few people, keto and fasting is legit.

I cannot wait for February when I’ve had a couple months of weight lifting and gaining then chopping down with fasting. I’ll what happens.

Scale says 144.4 after eating. Purple keto piss strips. Chop that fat!
    That sounds amazingly disgustingly delicious.

Almost verbatim of what I've experienced thus far. Gained close to 10lbs after consuming mounds of food over the holiday. Doing 24 hour fasts right now and have lost 4lbs in the last 5 days. What I like about this right now is there is no guilt when wanting to break fasts or keto. Being in a fat adapted mindset it's almost as easy losing as it is gaining, at least for me.

    My keto fasting/Snake Diet story:

I went ahead and did 2 weeks of the Snake Diet prior to thanksgiving. Starting weight was 149.8. I did a bunch of 48/36 hour fasts broken by 1,000-1,200 calorie meals. I had a keto-friendly cheat day (Red Lobster endless shrimp for date night with the wife) that was easily in excess of 3,500 calories but, other than that, it was straight forward. Last day I showed 139.7 on the scale. I was pissing dark purple on the strips constantly and was in deep ketosis for almost the entire strath.

Since then I’ve had multiple thanksgiving meals, some beer, some whisky, 2 gallons of ice cream (legit) and have also been doing intermittent fasting. This morning my scale weight was 144.8 and it’s been around that since the weekend. I gained back some of the water I cut. I haven’t lost any strength and I am eating right at maintenance during my window and staying pretty keto friendly. I’m a huge fan, I have lost adecent amount of belly/love handle fat and have a lot more upper body definition. I know RuffDaddy isn’t a fan, but that shit works. YMMV.
