  • Anyone ever tried True Protein?

I ordered two kinds today from www.trueprotein.com

    You basically make your own.

I got a pound of 90% hemp/10% flax seed in Orange Creamsicle and a pound of 90% soy/10% flax seed in French Vanilla Cream. I also added the Electrolyte mix to it as well.

I still order from Greg, he's my swoop swoop! But he didn't have any soy protein yet, and when he does i'll try that out too.

Just wondering what people thought, they have a great amount of add ins and various types of protein.

Here's the nutritional label for what i ordered:

    Supplement Facts
    Serving Size 30 grams
    Servings Per Pound 15

    Total Calories 132
    Calories from Fat 18

    Total Fat 3.04g

    Sugar 0g

    Protein 23.4g

If you haven't tried soy protein yet, make sure you aren't soy intolerant. I found out the hard way, intestinal distress is the nicest way of putting it.

I haven't yet, but i'm cutting out all egg/dairy from my diet for nutritional health reasons.

I've never had a problem with soy beans/edamame or any other soy products.

But I've also never consumes mass quantities of soy

      Thanks for the heads up

I've always wanted to try hemp protein, but it's kinda pricey. I think hemp has some real health benefits.

I avoid soy as much as possible though, there are lots of reasons to. The main reason for me is that 90% of soybeans are genetically modified to resist Roundup, and sprayed with the weed killer many, many times before they are harvested. That is some nasty shit to be consuming.

Here are some other reasons to skip the soy http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...sed.html?cat=5
