  • things more annoying than crossfit

Cross fit gets bagged on a lot..and I've explained why I think that is in other threads. So I want to pint out some shit that's 10x as bad as cross fit that I see every time I'm at the gym.

    1) helmet sized headphones - they look dumb and you can't even use half the equipment with them on properly

    2) rolled up shorts... They look like diapers and no one cares to see your pasty wight thighs.

    3) arms bowed out like your traps are cramping. You don't ever look tough doing this. Ever.

    4) old dudes juices out of their mind thinking they're hot shit

    5) dropping weight. If you can't control the weight...its too heavy.

What is more annoying than cross fit to you?

That one is all too common among the morons. That whole list is why I'm building a home gym. That and I'm asocial.

I've never understood it...even when I was a lot bigger...I never had the desire to hold that posture around all over.

The whole "tapout shirt guy" thing is really annoying. I guess that's the same thing as "bro". Who knows I'm old.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

1.People flexing in the mirror, kid got pissed tonight because I stole his pull up bar while he was flexin them guns.

                2. Using the dumbbell rack as a leaning place while doing bent over rows.

                3. Yelling throughout all sets.

Oh yeah! And having to share. Ugh. I don't wanna share, I want it to be all about me so I can get back to other things faster. Don't get me wrong, I like lifting. But spending 2 hours in the gym when it could have been 45 minutes shorter gets annoying.

I miss the days of going to the gym and just zoning out for a couple of hours. People do dumb shit, but I always found it quite easy, peaceful even, to mind my own business and carry on. You should try that.

I had some vibrams for a bit. I gotta admit, they were comfortable as hell. Way more than I thought they'd be.

Anyways, the obvious "I've never trained legs" dudes.

I miss those days too. With the rate texas has been expanding and with resolutioners, gyms are over crowded. You can't get away from it or ignore it.

Not sure where your gym is or if you even go...but I haven't seen one in Frisco, Allen or the round rock area that isn't packed all the time with tight quarters.

I used toe shoes for a while and they are actually pretty nice and really improve your stability (you're using your toes much more for balance than if you're wearing shoes). They have their place IMO
